Anyone that's attended youth sports can attest to the fact some parents are more invested in the game than their child. But, things got a little out of hand when a parent sparked a brawl during a little league baseball game.

The Lakewood Colorado police department responded to an incident at the West Gate Elementary School on Tuesday. According to a spokesperson, 15–20 adults disrupted a baseball game comprised of seven year olds to engage in an all-out rumble. Apparently, emotions started to run high when the 13-year-old umpire missed a couple of crucial calls. This led one man to attack an opposing parent resulting in other adults jumping in. The parents that weren't involved in the altercation quickly rushed the children off the diamond.

When the police arrived, they handed out four citations for disorderly conduct. Although no one was arrested, authorities are still investigating the incident. As seen in the video, the man in the white shirt and teal shorts was sliding on a lot of unsuspecting parents. This possibly resulted in one victim sustaining a serious injury. Police are now asking the public to help identify this assailant.

These adults took over the field and began assaulting each other on 6/15 during a youth baseball game. We're looking for any info, in particular to ID the man in the white shirt/teal shorts. Several people have already been cited in this fight and injuries were reported. pic.twitter.com/ieenhwCrbU

"I think the saddest part in all of this is we’re talking about a seven-year-old baseball game," police spokesperson John Romero told the local news. "I think it’s the parents who have to grow up."
