From the drawing room of a castle in Yonkers, New York, Martell kicked off their new series Martell HOME LIVE—a talk show dedicated to bold ideas and conversations. In a room astir with cocktails, spirited energy and a warm atmosphere, the host for the evening, Killer Mike, began the first episode by welcoming everyone in attendance and at home watching live via a YouTube livestream (that's now re-watchable on Martell's channel). What followed was an intimate night scored by performances and discussions featuring Princess Nokia and Big Freedia alongside the Atlanta hip-hop star.
The talk show celebrated folks who use their platforms to push boundaries and challenge norms, while leaving a lasting legacy that inspires others to do the same, which encapsulates everything Martell stands for. Big Freedia’s performance in particular, featuring several vogue dancers by the New Orleans bounce artist’s side, captured the audacious and unapologetically unique attitude Martell has built its brand on.
