HBCU campuses are sacred; they serve as environments where black students convene to learn, grow and build. For Livingstone College in Salisbury, N.C., the heart and soul of the campus is The Pavilion. And when the College won a $30,000 grant from The Home Depot’s Retool Your School Program—a campus improvement grant program that gives HBCUs an opportunity to make sustainable upgrades to their campuses—they decided to enhance The Pavilion, creating a space that reflects the spirit of the vibrant student body.

To the Livingston students, The Pavillion has always been a welcoming space to come together and celebrate. With classes in full swing now, Livingstone students started the year off strong with renewed energy, thanks to The Home Depot.
