Waldo has taken over Google Maps for a limited time only. For April Fools’ weekend, when you open Google Maps on your app or desktop, you will see a waving Waldo pop up on the upper lefthand corner of your screen. After you click on him, you will be prompted to play the game.

Waldo and his friends just left Google in California for an awesome adventure.

Can you spot them with Google Maps?
When you find him, don’t forget to let us know with #WaldoMaps! https://t.co/jIFTOOgrUm pic.twitter.com/bparGZOWw4

The screen will transform into the old storybook format with Waldo and his friends Woof, Wenda, Wizard Whitebeard, and Odlaw, hiding among a large group of people in six different locations around the world. You can find Waldo to get access to the next level, or you can challenge yourself, and try seeking out everyone in his crew.

The game has left people gladly spending hours of their lives trying to find that damn Waldo.

As long as you found him in the end, it's gotta be time well spent.
