UPDATED 3/26/18, 5:28 p.m. ET: Stormy Daniels has is amending her lawsuit against the President. As The Hill reported, her lawsuit now claims that Michael Cohen (Trump's personal attorney) defamed Daniels by suggesting she lied about her affair with 45. The suit draws special attention to the comments Cohen made last month, where he said, "Just because something isn't true doesn't mean that it can't cause you harm or damage." Meanwhile, the White House continues to deny the alleged 2006 affair. White House deputy press secretary Raj Shah said on Monday, "The President strongly clearly and consistently has denied these underlying claims. The only one who has been inconsistent is the one making the claims."

Original story is below.

If you’re like many Americans, you probably made yourself some popcorn or a cocktail, before settling in for Stormy Daniels' 60 Minutes interview. But if you’re Brent Blakely, you may have been too busy filing a cease and desist to sip any tea with the rest of us. According to Fox News, Blakely, the attorney for Michael Cohen (Trump’s personal lawyer), sent the adult film actress the legal letter following her appearance on the CBS show, which aired on Sunday.

In the interview, Daniels told host Anderson Cooper that in 2011, she was threatened to keep quiet about her alleged affair with the current president. According to Daniels, she was in a parking lot in Las Vegas when a man came up to her and said, “Leave Trump alone. Forget the story.” Daniels' attorney, Michael Aventatti, previously called this mystery man a “goon.” Aventatti is also very set on getting Trump to testify under oath about the affair in court.

As far as the NDA Daniels signed over and $130,000 in hush money Cohen paid her, the adult film star told Cooper that she only signed the agreement because “they” led her to believe that was her only option. Daniels said in the interview that “the exact sentence used was, ‘They can make your life hell in many different ways” if she didn’t sign. As far as who “they” are, Daniels told Cooper, “I’m not exactly sure who they were. I believe it to be Michael Cohen."

Anyway, Blakely is said to have ordered Daniels to apologize publicly for suggesting Cohen threatened her. Blakely sent the letter to both Daniels and Aventatti, urging her no to make “false and defamatory statements” about his client.
