In case you didn’t already know, hell hath no fury like a woman’s scorn.

A Georgia divorcée gave that age-old saying new meaning when she torched the home she lost to her ex-husband in their separation recently (I call that pulling a Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes). Adrienne Satterly, 41, is facing 14 counts of arson, three counts of aggravated animal cruelty, and one count of public drunkenness for the incident, which occurred at 3:25 a.m. on Sunday.

All jokes aside, this is no laughing matter. Outside of destroying her own home, the blaze Satterly started also destroyed several neighboring homes and damaged 16 others. Additionally, one of her neighbor’s two dogs were killed. After setting the fire, officials say Satterly left her home with her two cats before walking to a Walmart to call 911 for a ride home. She never mentioned the fire at her home on the call.

Paulding County Deputy Fire Commissioner Jay Florence said Satterly "stacked a pile of mattresses in the kitchen area of her home on Rosemont Court." Florence said fire officials believe Satterly then lit the mattresses on fire. "She put not only herself but her neighbors and first responders in jeopardy," he said.

"I heard a big boom," one neighbor said. "I'm like, 'Oh my gosh, what is this big boom, what is this big boom?' When I came out, this whole side [of the house] was just up in flames."

Satterly is currently being held in jail without bond. And before any of you chauvinists reading this start saying this is only something a woman could do, just know a disgruntled ex-husband did the exact same thing in 2016.
