Actress Maisie Williams sits as the figurehead for a brand new creative platform, Daisie, set to launch this Summer.

Built on the lack of resources available to new and existing artists, Daisie was created to enable and promote a culture of talent acknowledgment and sharing.

Speaking on the app, Maise said: “I couldn’t be happier about the change we are currently seeing in creative industries and the movement towards women becoming truly valued. I want Daisie to give other creatives the opportunities that I was lucky enough to receive at the beginning of my career. Daisie will break down the archaic gap between youth and creative jobs; offering new opportunities for individuals to collaborate, learn & create - establishing a new way for talented individuals to be discovered and employed.”

The company was founded alongside Film Producer Dom Santry, with the two sharing a belief that social media sits at the forefront of artistic distribution.

Daisie hopes to create a platform in which people with an interest in creative industries can like, share, and collaborate on projects. By forming a central creative hub, Daise aims to revolutionise the way we use social media, allowing users to gain exposure and guidance from leading experts.

Daise is set to release in August 2018. Stay up to date with everything happening by signing up via their website
