On Monday, Complex published a video about a Facebook group that is coordinating to give Black Panther a poor rating on Rotten Tomatoes. In the video, we referred to Milo Yiannopoulos as a “noted pedophile.” To our knowledge, this is not a truthful statement. Yiannopoulos has not been accused of, charged with, or convicted of pedophilia, or any pedophilia-related actions. We apologize to Mr. Yiannopoulos and his family, as well as to our audience, for making this claim.
While Complex prides itself on being opinionated and advocating for the issues that are most important to us and our audience, it is vital that our content be factually accurate. In this instance, we failed in that very basic mission. We have taken internal steps to ensure that this does not occur again.
