Last Friday, Missouri officers arrested a husband and wife on charges of sexual assault against their teenage daughter. The Kansas City Star reports the couple, Larry and Alicia Dykes, has been accused of repeatedly raping the girl and keeping her as a “sex slave” since 2016, when she was only 14 years old. The victim is now 15.
Authorities were alerted about the alleged sex crimes by one of the daughter’s friends.
According to court documents, Larry Dykes allegedly raped his daughter multiple times while his wife watched. The father is also accused of forcing the teen to perform oral sex on him up to three times a day. At times, the girl was reportedly blindfolded during the abuse.
“This couple had this girl as a sex slave,” Webster County Prosecutor Ben Berkstresser told the Star.
Alicia Dykes was charged with three felony counts of statutory sodomy. Larry Dykes was charged with 10 felony counts of statutory sodomy or rape. If convicted, the father could face up to life in prison. Berkstresser said there's a chance the father will face additional charges for a second victim.
The parents each remain in police custody on $500,000 bonds.
