Protesters across the United States have gathered in response to the violence stemming from the alt-right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia. On Saturday, 20-year-old James Alex Fields Jr. drove his car into a group of people, killing Heather Heyer, 32, and leaving 35 in total in need of medical treatment.

While Donald Trump has failed to appropriately condemn the actions of the group consisting of Neo-Nazis, Ku Klux Klan members, and white nationalists, thousands across the nation have organized peaceful protests to denounce the hateful speech hurled over the last couple days in Charlottesville's "pro-white" demonstrations.

In Atlanta, hundreds gathered to mourn the death of Heyer and all those who were injured.
