Today in news of President Donald Trump's ongoing administration drama, witnesses at Trump's inaugural ball reportedly watched one of his most trusted advisers engage in some less-than-savory behavior. Trump's senior counselor Kellyanne Conway allegedly punched a man in face at Friday's Liberty Ball, according to a witness speaking with New York Daily News.

According to the witness, two men reportedly got into a physical altercation at the invite-only ball. Conway stepped between them but was unable to break up the scuffle, at which point she punched one of the men "with closed fists at least three times," reports New York Daily News.

Corroborating the claim, Fox Business correspondent Charlie Gasparino posted an account of the incident on his Facebook page on Monday. "[I]nside the ball we see a fight between two guys in tuxes and then suddenly out of nowhere came trump [sic] adviser Kellyanne Conway who began throwing some mean punches at one of the guys," he wrote. "Whole thing lasted a few mins no one was hurt except maybe the dude she smacked. Now I know why trump [sic] hired her. Btw I exaggerate none of this."

Conway came under fire earlier this week for comments she made during an interview with Meet the Press in which she failed to acknowledge falsehoods reported by a member of Trump's administration. Following a controversial press conference by Trump Communications Director Sean Spicer during which he misrepresented the crowd sizes at Trump's inauguration, Conway defended the falsehoods as "alternative facts." This, understandably, spurred some hilarious Twitter memes and widespread condemnation for her inability to call Spicer's comments what they were: lies.
