Before he says goodbye to the White House once and for all, President Obama must complete one final, potentially awkward act. After a Friday morning church service, Obama and the First Lady will have tea with President-elect Donald Trump and his wife Melania as a way to welcome them to their new home.
Afterwards, both couples will travel via presidential motorcade to Capitol Hill, where Trump will be inaugurated around noon. There's no telling what might be said between the two men, whose relationship has been characterized as cordial, despite Trump's intentions to repeal the President's most significant accomplishments. That will be for them to know, and for us to speculate.
