The Daily Mail Blurred out a Photo of Section Boyz and Used It in an Unrelated Story About Gang Violence

Somebody needs to stop the Daily Mail.

Hey @DailyMailAU - your APEX gang pic is actually a UK rap band. Which we also we told you about last November. #mediawatch pic.twitter.com/SElOW8NU2s

We're not even surprised by this stuff anymore.

The Daily Mail is at the center of another embarrassing race and representation gaffe, after blurring out a photo of Section Boyz and using to illustrate a story about gang violence in Australia.

A photo of Section Boyz uploaded to Twitter in October 2016 has been taken and used in a story by Daily Mail Australia about the 'Apex Gang' plaguing Melbourne.

While the picture of the UK rap group has since been replaced on the original article, media analysts Media Watch reports the Mail made the same error last November.

If ever we needed anymore proof that the Daily Mail is out of touch, here it is.
