The Daily Beast has printed an Editor's Note regarding the allegations made against the Cordish Companies, saying that the most serious of them "were later recanted in non-public depositions." As a result, they have taken down the original article referenced below, and apologized. The note reads, in full:

On January 17th, The Daily Beast published a story describing a number of allegations made in lawsuits against The Cordish Companies.  Post-publication, it became apparent that many of the most serious accusations of discrimination were later recanted in non-public depositions, portions of which were subsequently made available to The Daily Beast. The Daily Beast always strives to be fair and factually accurate. To the extent that we fell short of these standards, we have taken down the article and apologize to The Cordish Companies, Reed Cordish, the Cordish family and our readers.

We echo those apologies.
