One squirrel managed to stir up some serious trouble and cause injuries to several residents of a senior living facility in Deltona, Florida, leading an employee of the facility to call 911 for help. Local ABC station WFTV reported that the squirrel made its way into the senior living building and attacked at least three people to the point that blood was drawn.

The Orlando Sentinel reported that the squirrel got inside because it had attached itself to a resident who was outside. Unable to break free of the tiny mammal, the resident went into the building and to the activity room, where the squirrel went rogue and began to attack others in the room.

In the 911 call made by a facility employee, people can be heard yelling in the background, "The squirrel is still in here" and "I feel lightheaded! I don't feel good!" The employee told the 911 dispatcher: "We had a squirrel that entered our building, and it’s in our activity room, and it’s jumping on people and biting them and scratching them. We need help. It’s still in there and people are bleeding."

Someone was eventually able to throw the squirrel back outside, and that the ultimate fate of the squirrel is not known. The residents who were attacked by the squirrel are all doing fine now, according to the Orlando Sentinel
