A mother in Pittsburgh allegedly killed her young son and then texted a video of the dead toddler to the child's father during an argument, reported the Associated Press. The woman, 21-year-old Christian Clark of McKeesport, was arrested on charges of criminal homicide for killing Andre Price III and for the attempted homicide of the toddler’s 2-year-old sister Angel.

According to Allegheny County homicide detectives, Clark’s argument with the 17-month-old boy’s father Andre Price Jr. began at around 9 p.m. Tuesday. Clark complained about cleaning up toilet water the children spilled, but was angrier about Price leaving for work because she thought Price was going to have sex with another woman.

Clark began sending Price warning messages, writing, "Ya kids ain't safe here I don't want them here" and "Answer me or im going to jail for child endangerment." Police said Price ignored some of Clark’s threatening texts, only answering six times and promising to take a bus home. At 10:01 p.m. Clark wrote “I’m killing them,” followed by the cry laughing emoji, said police. Clark sent Price a video of both children face down in which she said, "Ahh look Angel is still alive and sweating your son on the other hand is not even breathing, I wish I could keep the camera still." During the conversation, Clark sent photos of the children face down on an air mattress, with one showing the boy’s face in a comforter. Another video five minutes later showed the boy was unresponsive when Clark grabbed his head.

"First of all she is clearly fine, because watch, see she is not dead. Him on the other hand, he doesn't budge. So you might want to call the ambulance," Clark said in the video before texting Price, "All cus you wanted to go (have sex with) her & come here when you like." Police said it wasn’t until Clark sent a third video, this time of her picking up the boy’s body and tossing him on the bed, that Price asked Clark to revive the boy.

Clark denied killing the boy until police told her they had seen the texts between her and Price. She then admitted what she had done and explained she smothered the boy for one minute.
