Yesterday, president-elect Donald Trump met with President Barack Obama. But that wasn't the only meeting at the White House. Future First Lady Melania Trump met with current First Lady Michelle Obama. When pictures of the two women together made their way to the internet, Twitter lost it.

According to CNN, Michelle Obama hosted Melania Trump at the White House for about an hour and a half, and gave Melania a tour of her future residence. The pair had tea, toured the Truman balcony on the second floor, and discussed raising children in the White House. When her husband was elected in 2008, the First Lady's oldest daughter Malia was 10 years old and their youngest daughter Sasha was 7 years old. Melania Trump's son, Barron, is 10 years old and will be the first son to be raised in the White House since John F. Kennedy Jr.

The White House released a picture of the first lady and future first lady talking and sitting in gold chairs in the Yellow Oval Room.

The Trumps arrived and left through a private entrance on the south side of the White House, according to the Tampa Bay Times. That's different that 2008, when George W. and Laura Bush welcomed Barack and Michelle Obama on the South Lawn.

Donald Trump tweeted that he and President Obama had "great chemistry" and said that "Melania liked Mrs. O a lot!"

Melania Trump, who was born in Slovenia, will be the second-ever First Lady to be born outside of the United States—the first was Louisa Adams, wife of John Quincy Adams, who was born in London, England, according to Time.

Of course, Twitter, being Twitter, had some jokes—many of which played on Melania Trump plagiarizing Michelle Obama's speech.

Others pointed out Melania's notepad:

Some people on Twitter commented on how awkward the meeting must have been:

Other people imagined Michelle Obama throwing shade at Melania:

W. Kamau Bell was just shocked:

But seriously though, just about every person on Twitter seems to have made some sort of joke about Melania copying Michelle:

Others just wished it could've been First Dude Bill Clinton meeting with First Lady Michelle Obama instead:

Some people are still trying to make that happen: A petition is calling for the Electoral College to make Hillary Clinton president.
