Every once in a while, the world offers us a shining example of stupidity. Just when we're feeling a little unsure of our own intelligence, society gifts us with contrast. Take for instance, a gentlemen in Atlantic Canada. On Friday night, a fully-grown adult in Stephenville, Newfoundland, was caught breaking into prison. No, we didn't misspeak, the dude was trying to bust into jail.

The 32-year-old weirdo was reportedly intoxicated (you don't say?), when he decided to impress his friends by scaling the prison's barbed wire fence (Sick climbing skills, my dude!). The 15-foot barricade was no match for Captain Bro, but unfortunately, our hero was still caught and detained overnight by police.

According to the The Telegram, this isn't the first time someone has attempted to break into the correctional facility. Way back in the 1980s, another gentleman was apprehended for trying to bust into the joint. Following the incident, the aforementioned fence was installed. Poor West Coast Correctional Centre. They thought a simple, giant razor wire fence, was going to stop people from getting out of the jail - they never even considered people getting into it.

Meanwhile, our main protagonist in this story has a court appearance on December 5. The man will be facing mischief charges. There has yet to be any word on whether or not he's planning to break into the courtroom as well. One thing's for certain, we'd like to thank this man for making us feel better about ourselves.
