A sizeable portion of the web imploded Saturday afternoon when photos of First Lady Michelle Obama hugging former President George W. Bush appeared online. Along with their spouses, former First Lady Laura Bush and President Barack Obama, the two attended the dedication ceremony of the National Museum of African-American History and Culture in D.C. 

The internet being what it is, users couldn't just let a nice thing happen. So instead of looking at these loving images:

We now get to see a slew of edited photos that are not so nice. For example: Here is a very cozy-looking Bush swaddled in a Batman onesie.

And here is Michelle cradling a very unhappy-looking Donald Trump.

At the dedication ceremony, Dubya also got some tips from President Obama about how to take a selfie, who is (naturally) an expert.
