A playboy model has been arrested for allegedly plotting to spring her mobster boyfriend, reportedly a friend of former Olympic sprinter Oscar Pistorius, from a South Africa prison.

Former cover girl Marissa Christopher was arrested this weekend for helping to plan her boyfriend Radovan Krejcir's violent prison break, which was thwarted in March. The Czech criminal has been awaiting trial at the Zonderwater Correctional facility for the 2013 murder of drug kingpin Sam Issa. While there, he apparently befriended Pistorius, who is currently serving a six-year sentence for the 2013 murder of his girlfriend. The two were seen playing football, causing the athlete's cell to be raided by guards

Christopher reportedly paid for and orchestrated the escape, in which 10 people armed with assault rifles were to storm the facility to free Krejcir. She had been on the run for months since the plan was uncovered, and was finally arrested when she attempted to visit Krejcir in prison with their young daughter Saturday. According to News24, it is believed Christopher sold a luxury Mercedes-Benz that Krejcir had bought her for funds to pay off officials involved in the plot. Forensic investigator Paul O’Sullivan alleged Christopher also arranged a helicopter to aid in the escape.

"Krejcir’s 'playmate' could become his cellmate," O’Sullivan said.

Zonderwater prison official Martinus Johannes Hendrik Herbst was arrested the day before for smuggling a cell phone into Krejcir's cell, and both suspects appeared in court Tuesday, where the state opposed bail

Officials at the prison did not immediately return Complex's request for comment.
