If you're ever riding your bicycle down one of the busiest streets on Earth and suddenly find yourself all alone, maybe slow down and take a moment to think about why that is. A guy on one of New York's rentable Citi Bikes found out the hard way when he got jacked up by NYPD officers on Thursday.

As this Instagram video shows, the man attempted to casually ride right through a massive roadblock that had been set up in midtown Manhattan to allow President Barack Obama's motorcade to pass through safely, probably while the Commander in Chief was on his way to slow jam the news with Jimmy Fallon one last time. These cops weren't about to let that happen.

TMZ later tracked down the bicyclist, a guy named Daniel Provencio, who actually had a pretty good reason for being distracted: He was speeding to get to a date he'd made through an online dating website and was blasting Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" in his headphones. Unfortunately for Provencio, his date didn't wait around for him, but at least he has the honor of saying he has literally been cock blocked by the president himself.

It probably wouldn't have been nearly as good a date as Barack and Michelle Obama's first date, anyway.
