Remember last week when Florida Gov. Rick Scott stopped by a local Starbucks for some coffee and was met with (thankfully filmed) animosity instead? Of course you do. As if hell-bent on proving that Starbucks customer's description of him as an "asshole," Scott has now released a new ad that takes direct aim at the understandably frustrated Floridian in a move that can only be described as Donald Trump-esque.

"You may have seen this video of a terribly rude woman at a coffee shop cursing and screaming at Gov. Scott," the video's narrator says on top of a soundtrack that sounds like it was ripped from a YouTubed Blue's Clues episode. "Well, that woman clearly has a problem." As Trump-esque attack ads are known to do, the video then uses classic fear tactics in an attempt to demonize the woman:

Is it incredibly weird and/or troubling for the governor of Florida to use (presumably valuable) PAC dollars just to discredit a vocally disappointed voter? You bet it is. "I've never heard of a governor of the entire state of Florida putting out a video like this in response to a constituent," Cara Jennings, the woman at the center of both videos, tells the Huffington Post. "It's pretty much unheard of. But if you're someone in Florida and you live here and you live under Rick Scott's policies, it's not that shocking."

In fact, as noted by Jennings herself, Rick Scott has officially endorsed Donald Trump for president and is perhaps simply taking a page or two from the Trump book of childishness. Scott's attack ad, of course, conveniently avoids discussing one of the main reasons for Jennings' frustrations: his abhorrent disregard for citizens who would benefit greatly from Medicaid expansion. Jennings, a noted political activist and former Lake Worth city commissioner, has reached out to Scott to arrange a discussion centered on a variety of GOP-ignored issues. Scott's office has not responded to this request, according to the Post.

For proper evaluation, revisit Stephen Bender's original clip of Scott's karma-drenched coffee trip below:
