No one needs to tell you that dating can be difficult, especially for women dealing with men who don't know how to act. And by "don't know how to act," I mean "holy shit, look at this lunatic."

The Mirror reports that a woman posted her conversation with a potential Tinder date, who got terrifying real quick after she canceled their date. Screenshots of the conversation were posted by user msmessyclean yesterday on Imgur with the title "Batshit Crazy Guy." That title does not come close to capturing the shitstorm.

According to msmessyclean, she matched with the Crazy Guy, who displayed "quirks" from the beginning—quirks she overlooked. Soon the two exchanged numbers and spoke on the phone. That conversation led to a date planned for the forthcoming Wednesday.

"After agreeing and chatting on the phone, something felt off. He was too offbeat and I began to feel uncomfortable. The following day he said a few things that didn't sit with me. This was the final thing that did it." According to msmessyclean the messages and phone calls came over a two-and-a-half hour period.

Who knows if he said something beforehand but the first message from the guy that appears in the screenshots is him asking msmessyclean if she's on birth control. She responds that she's canceling the date. He apologizes for the "joke," but she doesn't walk back her decision to scrap their plans. That's when things get scary.

This guy's roller coaster of emotions begin with, "I actually had you double booked with another girl. So I’m kinda happy you decided to be a psycho." He follows that up with, "You sure you want to cancel it?" Strong resolve, clearly.

The he floods her with messages about how he's "joking" to show her how most guys act. Then he actually says, "You do know I'm a doctor right? My brain thinks at a much higher level than yours or the average person." To make matters worse, he the complains about how hard it was for him to call her for the date. In what could be construed as a "move," he says his mom just died.

"For those that are asking, he wasn't strange or creepy at first," she said. "It was when I had a conversation with him on the phone where I actually started getting a bad vibe."

Maybe online dating isn't the way to go. You can read the full exchange below.
