If you've ever founded a company, you should definitely put that on your Tinder profile, according to a new analysis.

In November, Tinder gave users the option to add job titles to their profiles. Since then, the dating app has collected data on how this information affected users' success, and some surprising patterns emerged. Who would've guessed physical therapists were so popular?

Swipes between November 2015 and January 2016 revealed that certain professions were more popular than others, and it varied by gender. For women, physical therapists got the most right-swipes, while pilots won the Tinder popularity contest among men.

People's preferences overall reflected gender stereotypes: Male-dominated professions like doctors and firefighters made men's top five, while female-dominated ones like PR professionals and teachers rounded out women's.

Though you might expect models to win over the most people on an appearance-based platform like Tinder, they were actually only at No. 8 for men and No. 10 for women.

There was only one job in the top five for both genders: "founder/entrepreneur." So if you want to get out of a Tinder rut, consider starting a company.

A Tinder spokesperson told NTRSCTN in a statement that adding jobs and education to profiles helps people get more swipes across the board. So even if you're not a pilot or a physical therapist, don't be afraid to reveal what you do.
