Performing an exorcism, particularly a successful one, is extremely hard work. Just ask the two gentlemen who attempted such a feat on Stephen Colbert's favorite half-melted action figure, Ted Cruz:

"He’s possessed by a demon!" As the perplexed audience of Cruz supporters started to mindlessly join together in a chorus of boos, the two men displayed a mirror and a wooden cross before Cruz made a pretty lame Bernie Sanders joke about these exorcising protesters.
"[Cruz is] very hard to be in the same room with," one protester said, holding back vomit. "There’s a reason that the body is so haggard and disgusting, and the face, and it’s all so weathered and gross and hard to look at." As previously reported, a medical expert recently weighed in on why exactly Ted Cruz's general demeanor is so unsettling, revealing in Psychology Today that the Republican candidate's "countenance doesn’t shift the way I expect typical faces to move."
