Adidas shut down haters who weren't happy about the company's LGBT-friendly Valentine's Day post.

To celebrate the romantic holiday, the sportswear brand featured an Instagram post that shows a same-sex couple presumably kissing. An accompanying caption reads: "The love you take is equal to the love you make."

The sentiment didn't have everyone feeling the love, though. One critic commented on the post, "Shame on you, Adidas! I'm going to Nike now." That's when the company waved haters goodbye with emoji:

Slow clap for Adidas for handling this situation so calmly and amazingly, love is LOVE. pic.twitter.com/8BfuE9yGPc

Adidas also made headlines on Monday when the company added a clause to sponsorship contracts "protecting athletes from being dropped if they come out as LGBTI," according to Gay Star News.

Adidas ain't playing.
