Snoop Dogg's Latest Video Pays Homage to Video Game Love (Video)

Snoop Dogg's career has been reincarnated several times but on his literal new album Reincarnated the Snoop becomes the Lion or something - Frankly I can't keep up anymore – which doesn't lessen my unconditional love. Snoop has always been into gaming and his new video with with futurist cyborg MAJOR LAZER pays homage to gaming past with a Pokemon-like battle.

The track, “Get Away,” was produced by MAJOR LAZER and the two battle it out Pokemon style before joining forces to battle a stereo system circa 1980.

Snoop Dogg has long been dipping the chalice into video games. From being featured in True Crime: Streets of LA, Def Jam: Fight for NY, and don't forget the Snoop-Fighter Way of the Dogg and many more. Most recently the Snoop is in commercials for the upcoming Rayman Legends as if that game needy to get weirder.
