Final Level: "Priority: Earth 10"
Why It Sucked: The BioWare team rick-rolled devoted fans of the series by creating the illusion of choice and consequence. Even the ending rendered player choice irrelevant and the promised multiple endings are all functionally the same. The result was a lynch mob-like uproar from fans, that forced BioWare to offer an alternate ending via DLC.
How We Would End It: Why not incorporate all of the emotional and philosophical weight that players have been navigating through during the first two titles? How about making the choices we make truly result in actual wildly different endings? Create a multi-faceted, non-linear ending that creates true closure.
