25 Great Sports Video Games For Non-Gamers

4. Wii Sports Resort

Wii Sports Resort kept Golf and Bowling (the two best sports from Wii Sports) but added a bunch of different (and in real life, very expensive) others including: Sword fighting, wakeboarding, Frisbee, archery, basketball, table tennis, power cruising, canoeing, cycling and air sports (think: sky diving). It's the ultimate adrenaline rush for people who are afraid of actual adrenaline rushes. It also kicked off the use of the Wii MotionPlus accessory which improved the control you could have while, suspiciously, putting more money into Nintendo's pockets. With the Wii MotionPlus this is as close as you're going to get to playing sports without, you know, actually playing them. What else are you going to do if you're rained or snowed in?
