The 'Zelda' History Book 'Hyrule Historia' is a New York Times Bestseller

The 'Zelda' History Book 'Hyrule Historia' is a New York Times BestsellerBecause we definitely needed to know more about this guy

The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia, the encyclopedic compendium that documents the epic series in full, just hit the New York Times bestsellers list. That just goes to show how much cultural power Zelda has, even to this day—the franchise is over 25 years old, yet a book about its characters, settings and lore can still be one of the country's best-sellers. It's pretty incredible.

Hyrule Historia has everything from item descriptions to the full, official timeline, which documents the various events of the Zelda series in chronological order, including the branching paths created in Ocarina of Time. It was a revelation when it came out.

And now it's on sale on Amazon, down from $35 to $20. Best coffee table book ever? Definitely.
