Video games are a popular subject for stop-motion animators, but the talented Marcus and Hannes Knutsson have really outdone themselves with the epic "Super Mario Beads 3."
It's an incredible adventure that must have taken forever, as Kotaku points out.
Assholes that we are, there's one thing we have to point out: it should have been called "Super Mario Bead World," despite that being a less catchy name, since almost all of the sprites and sound effects come from Super Mario World, and not Super Mario Bros. 3.
But who really cares? Check out the behind-the-scenes video (if you speak the language) and see what else you can glean about what must be a painstaking process.
