What Do Touch Controls Add to "Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation"? (Video)

Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation has been touted as the first true AC game for a portable system; with the PS Vita's dual analog sticks and considerable power, it should prove at least comparable to its console counterpart, Assassin's Creed 3.

Only Liberation has something that AC 3 doesn't: touch controls. We'll reserve judgment until the right time, but the latest video from the PlayStation Blog details some of the ways Liberation takes advantage of the Vita's unique features, from rowing a canoe and pickpocketing to chaining insta-kills together.

By the way, before you balk at the touch-kills, remember that they're hardly different from the chain kills in previous AC games. Or so it seems at this stage. Do you disagree? Do you think touch controls can add anything to Assassin's Creed?
