Sony's "PlayStation All-Stars" Party at LA's iam8bit was a Real "Battle Royale" (Gallery)The women of GamersBliss.com

The last iam8bit party we attended—the Street Fighter 25th anniversary party at which Hulk-handed fans wrecked a huge pinata car—was so great, there was no way we could pass up on the LA nerd-art gallery's latest shindig, the official LA Beatdown. Especially when we found out what they were celebrating: the awesomeness of Sony's PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale.

Call it what you will—"Sony Smash Bros.," "PlayStation 'Brawl' Stars"—but the real question is: why haven't more developers jumped on this bandwagon? We've got to wonder, especially when results like Sony's PlayStation All-Stars are so fun.

And in true iam8bit fashion, the gallery space was filled with paraphernalia from each game whose characters are represented in Battle Royale; one of Kratos's blades, Parappa's bling, one of Ratchet's enormous guns—everyone brought something to the party, including the hundreds of fans who lined up down the street for a chance to get some shwag and play the game.

Check out the gallery and let us know what you think of PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale.
