Dino-Human Shooter "Primal Carnage" is Now in Open Beta

Primal Carnage has one of the simplest and greatest concepts for a video game ever—teams of gun-toting humans and prehistoric dinosaurs having at one another in bloody contests and skill and wit. It's a first-person shooter for one side and a third-person brawler for the other, and it's now in open beta for anyone who pre-orders the full game.

There are five human and five dinosaur classes, and each comes with a different set of weapons and abilities—like a flamethrower for the humans, or flight for the dinosaurs. If you're interested, you can pre-order Primal Carnage at the official site, at Gamestop, or on Steam, among other sources.

In addition to access to the beta, pre-ordering gets the exclusive be-feathered raptor skin seen above. So are you down to shoot some dinosaurs?
