That's right ladies and gents, sharpen your machetes and stock up on canned meat. As of yesterday morning over a million people have played the Arma II mod, DayZ. With numbers like that, it seems inevitable that there will be a full-length standalone title.
I know that the zombie survival horror genre might be getting close to jumping the shark, but the idea of having a standalone game, as opposed to a mod patch, is really exciting.
