"Doom" Creators id Software are Hiring for a Game on "Future-Generation Consoles"

Doom and Rage creators and monosyllabic moniker aficionados id Software must know something about the next generation of gaming consoles that we don't, because word is they're hiring for help developing a game for "future-generation consoles."

The Zenimax job listing in question asks for a UI programmer to work on "an unannounced game on future-generation consoles."

Get your resumes ready, people, if you want to find out about the PS4, Xbox 720 or whatever else are before the rest of the world. Let's just hope your UI programming experience is up to snuff (oh, and that you've got three years of game development experience under your belts). We're waiting for our call, id!

As sources have pointed out, the listing also calls for familiarity with id's existing products, so the new game could be another title in the Doom, Quake, Rage or Wolfenstein series. Got any predictions? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter.
