What are "Rockstar TV" and "GTA TV"?

A pair of trademarks filed by Grand Theft Auto publisher Take-Two have indicated that Rockstar may be planning to make a lot of video content for Grand Theft Auto V. Take-Two has trademarked "Rockstar TV" and "GTA TV". The trademarks include categories establishing the type of content the properties refer to. The descriptions for both trademarks are identical:

"computer game programs and software; animated motion picture films featuring entertainment, namely, action, adventure, dramatic, comedic, children's and documentary themes; pre-recorded video discs and other pre-recorded digital and electronic media in the field of live action programs, motion pictures, or animation featuring entertainment, namely, action, adventure, dramatic, comedic, children's and documentary themes."

That's a lot of stuff. According to this Rockstar will be making a series of both animated and live-action movies in a slew of different genres.

Past GTAs have featured fake radio stations: Maybe GTA V will have a similar range of TV shows to check out when you're "home"? Given that one of the filings isn't directly tied to GTA, the videos could also be part some sort of promotional material for Rockstar's entire catalogue.

For now we'll just have to wait until Take-Two and Rockstar decide to open up about a little more about GTA V.
