Final Fantasy XIII-2 just dropped to mostly positive reviews. Gone are the mistakes of its predecessor. It’s no longer more linear than an episode of Full House and the battle system is quicker, leaner and pretty darned fun. Finally, we can appreciate the series again with little or no reservations (Let’s conveniently forget about XIV).
Now is the time to gaze down through the decades and recount the coolest and most cherished moments in final and fantastical history. Consider this the opening salvo in our celebration of its twenty five years on this Gaia earth.
Note: We will be sticking to the series proper here. The spin-offs have some cool moments, Tactics especially, but that is an article for another time. Also, this is going to have more spoilers than your loud coworker the day after Lost aired. Read at your own risk.

FF7 has that best moment, and so good that I still find it's very beautiful in both Story, and Gameplay. The music was also very heartbreaking :D

When I think about about it...I guess I'll have to agree with number one. It was pretty cool to find out that there was a whole world outside of Midgar. What would've been cooler was discovering the power of a gold chocobo, muahahahaha. Other cool moments could've been finding that in FF2 you could still play all the other dead character to beat Emperor in the afterworld...he is so annoying arg. In 7, Gold Saucer is the way to go. FF8...the sorcessor dance..lol I'm kidding about that...yeah the garden scene was pretty cool...but Sir Laguna is cooler, BOOYAKA. FF9 random quizzes was pretty cool and that castle where the weaker weapons are stronger and the scene with the death of Alexander! In 10, the dissappearance of all the aeons were really cool...and sad. In 12 I liked the change in weather, kept you on your feet expecially during the sandstorms. 13 I like the storyline...
