Nintendo has announced that they're preparing a fix for save files affected by the dreaded save-killing glitch in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. The glitch, which can be triggered during the "Song of the Hero" quest, makes other parts of the mission impossible to complete. Until now, if a player triggers the glitch, the only option has been to start the game over.
If you haven't deleted your save, Nintendo says they have created software that will eliminate the glitch and make corrupted files usable again. Currently, Nintendo can fix the problem if you send them your Wii or the save data on a SD card. According to Nintendo's website, they're also working to make the software available for online download directly to the Wii.
For more information on restoring your save, contact Nintendo via their support page.
