Another week, another giveaway! Amongst the celebrities, athletes, and straight up sneakerheads that EA has graciously sent a Need For Speed: The Run swagged out kit to, Complex has received one such kit out of the 45 made that we'd like to give away to one lucky reader.
The kit itself is a leather box, with a carbon fiber overlay on top and inside. Why carbon fiber? Well, first off: why not carbon fiber? But more importantly, carbon fiber is used fairly widely on race cars today for its a high strength-to-weight ratio. Added for effect are two hood pins keeping the kits closed, which are more traditionally used on race cars to prevent the hoods from flying open. Nothing kills a race faster than that panic attack.
Inside the leather box prize you'll find NFS branded gear including custom Adidas kicks, a track jacket and a PS3. A PS3 copy of the game is included, of course.
The Run is the 18th title in the much loved Need for Speed franchise, and takes you on a high-paced race from San Francisco to New York. This isn't a leisurely tour throughout the country, though. Playing as Jackson, you're in this race for the money to pay off some hefty debts and angry collectors. No speed limits. No rules. No allies. All you have are your driving skills and sheer determination.
