"Alan Wake's American Nightmare" VGA Trailer and Details Reveal Sequel-ish New Title

It's been no secret that a new Alan Wake title is on its way, though previous rumors that the game would be called Alan Wake: Night Springs proved inaccurate. Titled instead Alan Wake's American Nightmare, its story appears to pick up right at the end of the first Alan Wake. Prior confusion as to whether the game is a full-blown sequel seems sort of irrelevant at this point.

Besides some insights into "Mr. Scratch," a character only hinted at toward the end of the last game, this video also shows some gameplay, which appears quite true-to-form. It looks as if anyone worried about the game being downloadable only will have little to worry about now. Do you agree, or would you rather have a retail release?
