How can anyone not love Black Friday? We sure do but it is easy to understand why a group of shoppers out in the Porter Ranch area of Los Angeles might be a bit unhappy with this year’s Black Friday experience.
Destructoid is reporting that customers at the local Wal-Mart there reported major scuffles breaking out in the store over discounted Xbox 360 and Wii consoles which resulted in a heavy dose of pepper spray. The scary thing is that the spray doesn’t appear to have come from security or store employees, but rather a “competitive shopper”.
Seriously people? We can agree that there were some great deals out there this year but to go to the level of using pepper spray on your fellow man to save a few bucks, there are just no words to describe that. It will be interesting to see if any lawsuits get filed as a result of this, we’re sure some people are already contacting lawyers as we speak.

Incidents such as these are sad and shameful for the world-view of our country. Just 24 hours after we are supposed to give thanks and show compassion for those in need, all of this comes to surface from the Capitalist mania the public is worked into by Big Business. I wrote an article about the true meaning behind our holiday and a warning about our national disgrace which is Black Friday at http://dregstudiosart.blogspot.com/2010/11/wishing-you-and-yours-bountiful-harvest.html

LMFAO I tought I wouldn't be able to get one of these "discounted" xbox 360's (250g @ $200 )but I got one with pick up at store 7 hours ago and didn't have to wait in line. haha
