10 Games That Desperately Need A Sequel

Sequels. The video game industry is overrun by them. And though we can bitch, moan and complain all we want about how there aren’t enough Shadow of the Colossus’ being made, when all is said and done,  we don’t mind shelling out some extra cash for a follow-up release to our favorite games. Unfortunately for us dedicated fans, certain games just don’t get the attention they deserve. Regardless of the reasons - which very many are unbeknownst to us - we’re making a call for change. Here are ten of those games that desperately need a sequel, and without any current future prospects for one. We didn’t say this list would be a happy one.

I am all for a crono cross sequel, i loved that game when it came out. However in this day and age, I'm doubting Square-Enix's ability to put out a solid RPG. They really have caused all of their franchises to suck ever since they merged with Enix. Give us a CC sequel just go back to the roots when it was Squaresoft and they actually put out decent games.

I'm not sure that many of these games will ever have a sequel, becasuse many of them consist of some concepts so surreal that not even the developers of killer 7 will touch, as for Chrono cross; it looks to be a typical title from Square Enix and similar looking to some of the FF games- considering Final fantasy is a series that has been sucked dry since it was first released, maybe Square Enix (possibly just "Square" in the future) might just create a new sequel for it.

Ah, but that's where you're wrong, my friend. Chrono Cross and Chrono Trigger are seriously two of the greatest RPGs of all time. Oh, and ha! Nice shout-out for Killer 7. I was actually a fan. One of two, I believe.

I don't see why super ghouls and ghosts can't be done in all it's original glory, 2D and great visuals appears in Re-logic's Terraria- it can be done, but we just need someone to make it

It's probably the most possible one on this list, but I don't see it happening anytime soon. I don't see anyone stepping up to the plate.

Personally I would've loved to see the Boucer (Square-Enix) on this list.

Eternal Darkness was pure bliss, a sequel or a remake are needed. I still remember going insane when my sanity bar was low, I really began doubting about everything (in the game). Never madness was brought to life so perfectly in a game. "The darkness comes...".

Please. Chrono Cross was not a sequel. The game designers themselves said as much. It's a spin off at best and it doesn't need a sequel. Chrono Trigger needs the damn sequel. Stop confusing the already delusional minds at Square/Enix so we can have a shot at maybe someday getting a sequel to the greatest game ever created.
