Some of the earliest forms of copyright protection were developed during the Amiga’s reign in the '80s and early '90s. Despite Amiga’s secret disk sectors on the games’ floppy disks, hackers still caught on and learned how to defeat the copy protection. By the way—sorry, nerd fun fact approaching—do you realize that those floppies only held 1.44 megabytes? That’s about 0.03 seconds of a torrented movie nowadays.
