We have a special place in our hearts for Nintendo’s No. 1 mascot, Mario—heck, his accent alone is enough to love the guy without reservation. But coming in at a close second is everyone’s favorite fat pink puff, Kirby. When we first got word of The Eater of Airness’ return to consoles this year, we nearly swallowed up the nearest intern (II) and farted out stars in excitement. And now the new game is out: Kirby’s Epic Yarn, a adventurous romp through a magical, poorly sewn sock stuffed into the pants of an evil wizard. (We promise it’s not another episode of Dateline: To Catch A Predator.) In honor of his return, we’re taking a step back to examine the man behind the puffy cheeks who proved that 18 years of sucking couldn't be more awesome.
