Trivia: To get Mario to appear, beat Level 9 at height 5 and he will make his short-lived grand entrance with his fellow Nintendo mascots in what appears to be a Muscovite hoedown. *Cue Tetris music*

Mario and Tetris have about as much in common as Lindsay Lohan and sobriety, but that didn't stop Nintendo from shoehorning their mascot into the NES port of their Russian-inspired puzzle title, albeit for a very brief cameo appearance.

I don't know about this. In my opinion (I have played all of the games in the top 10), Super Mario Galaxy and Galaxy 2 are the best Mario games. The 2D games are masterpieces, but so are the 3D games. Also, Sunshine should have been higher.
