We all appreciate game developers creating dynamic new worlds and employing bleeding-edge technology, but sometimes it's just better to take a step back and get nostalgic. That's exactly what NSMBW did with its re-imagined version of Super Mario Bros. and the inclusion of four player competitive co-op. You don't know rage until one of your friends picks your virtual avatar up and throws it down an endless pit...on purpose.

I don't know about this. In my opinion (I have played all of the games in the top 10), Super Mario Galaxy and Galaxy 2 are the best Mario games. The 2D games are masterpieces, but so are the 3D games. Also, Sunshine should have been higher.
