What do you get when you combine Nintendo characters and a board game? If you guessed "the best drinking game ever," step right up and collect your winnings. Although subsequent iterations beat this old dog to death (hence their exclusion from the list), Mario Party married the best of around-the-coffee-table family fun with various challenging party games.

I don't know about this. In my opinion (I have played all of the games in the top 10), Super Mario Galaxy and Galaxy 2 are the best Mario games. The 2D games are masterpieces, but so are the 3D games. Also, Sunshine should have been higher.
