Of the Mario Kart games, this is the one that most either love or hate. Most love it for including a second useable character in each kart and what were at the time amazing graphics. Others thought it was a tired retread of previous efforts in the series. Any way you slice it, it's still one of the finest games to include Mario in it...as if the infallible mustachioed homie would allow crap to reach the masses anyway.
