Here is the Face Behind the Internet's Most Famous Butt

If you’re a frequent social media user, you’re probably familiar with Jen Selter, aka, the lovely fitness guru with the Internet’s most famous derriere.

The 20-year old New Yorker hasn’t granted many interviews regarding her sudden Internet fame, as she’s preferred to let her booming online fanbase speak for itself. But, in an interview with Barcroft TV, Selter opens up about her legion of Twitter and Instagram followers, which include Terrell Owens, Amar’e Stoudemire and one of her biggest idols, Rihanna. “When I heard Rihanna was following me on Instagram, I was the happiest girl,” Selter told Barcroft TV during an interview. “I’ve always been a fan since a young girl and it just shows that when talent is following you, you’re doing something right.”

In the video, Selter states that her great shape was through tedious nutrition and consistent weight training. After graduating from high school, Selter started exercising after she got side jobs working at a plastic surgeon’s office and a local gym. She began to see immediate progress and started posting belfies—butt selfies—onto her Instagram page in March 2012. In no time, she was gaining over 200,000 new followers a month and eventually quit her gym gig.

The funniest part of the video is easily the 18-second mark when random streetgoers thirst over Selter’s backside while subtitles pop up randomly across the screen. It legitimately looks like a Chappelle Show skit. However, it’s this attention that has kept endorsements calling for Selter. She’s already racked up deals with nutrition supplement company Game Plan Nutrition and water company NY20, and is looking forward to releasing her own line of workout wear, primarily yoga pants. She says that she owns over 127 pairs.

However, despite all the increased notoriety, she has found it difficult to workout in private. “I’m recognized wherever I am,” Selter says. “I don’t really go to public gyms anymore because it is a whole big scene when I’m there. I don’t like being watched.”
